There were probably more children born to John and Elizabeth but I have not been able to find them.
Notes for Job and Sarah Caswell;
In the early 1900's Job and Sarah emmigrated to Canada and settled in Taber, Alberta. He had been injured and walked with a limp. Current speculation is that Job was with the 80th of Foot, Staffordshire Regiment and saw action during one of the many African battles in the latter part of the 1800's. This has not been verified.
Sarah's two children by Charles Astbury remained in England.
Three of her children by James B. Whitcutt came to Canada, Ada Mary Whitcutt, Frederick Charles Whitcutt and Kate Whitcutt.
Walter Caswell, Elizabeth May Caswell and Ernest Harold Caswell all came with their parents and settled in and around Taber and Bow Island, Alberta.
Sarah Caswell / Whitcutt / Astbury passed away 18 Nov 1930 in Taber, Alberta. Both Job and Sarah are side by side in the Taber Cemetery, having lost to death 5 children before she came to Canada and 2 sons who sacrificed their lives during World War 1. I look at her picture and see an overwelming sadness and yet I see a warmth and tenderness sparkling through her eyes.
A great deal more family history will be posted as time permits
