  1st Generation:     
          Thomas Lyons b. 1621, Glen Lyon, Perthshire, Scotland, d. 8 Nov 1690, Rye, Westchester, New York, bur. Lyon Cemetery,
          Byram Neck, Greenwich, Conneticut, his will dated 6 Dec 1689, probated with Inventory of Estate, 7 Sept 1680, Will executed
          9 Nov 1690,
          married Martha Joanne Winthrop
          married Mary Hoyt, daughter of Simon Hoyt of Stamford, Conneticut.
 
   There is insufficient evidence to link Thomas Lyon to the Royal Line of Sir John Lyon  (1340-1382 )  of Glen Lyon, Perthshire, Scotland.

2nd Generation:
          Thomas Lyons b. 1673, Greenwich, Fairfield, Conneticut, d. May 1739
          married Abigail Ogden, daughter of John Ogden, they had 10 children, including Joseph. Will of Thomas Lyons of Greenwich was
          dated 2 Apr 1839, probated 1 May 1739 at Stamford, Conneticut.

3rd Generation:
          Joseph Lyons b. Abt 1712, Greenwich, Fairfield, Conneticut, d. 23 Dec 1776, White Plains, Westchester Co., New York
          married Mary Disbrow eldest daughter of Peter Disbrow of Rye, New York. His will is dated 17 Feb 1758. A petition re the Will July 1797
          mentions Jeremiah Lyon of New Brunswick ( Canada ) and also son Reuben Lyon of New Brunswick ( Canada )

4th Generation:
          Jeremiah Lyons b. 1750, Greenfiels, Fairfield, Conneticut, married Elizabeth b. Abt 1760.
              Jeremiah and Rueben Lyons on the Roll of Late New York Volunteers ( Loyalists ) who obtained lands at Madamkeswick Sept 1784
              They were privates and probably single. Jeremiah Lyons and wife Elizabeth sold Lot 44 in 1796 to Reuben Lyons. By 1809 the name
              Jeremiah Lyons is among the names of settlers in the Southern Division of the " Betts " Grant. He settled on Lot 62. A Government Survey
              later shows this to be Carroll's Crossing in Ludlow Parish, Northumberland Co., New Brunswick. Lot 61 sold 1813 by Widow Smith to
              Daniel Lyons, one of the nine children of Jeremiah and Elizabeth Lyons.

5th Generation:

           1861, Carrol's Crossing, Northumberland Co., New Brunswick
           married Sarah Collins b. 4 May 1797, St, Mary's New Brunswick, d. 10 Nov 1872, Ludlow, Maine, bur. Carroll's
           Crossing, Northumberland, New Brunswick
              1) Elizabeth Lyons b. 7 Aug 1820, Blissfield, New Brunswick
                  married George N. Astle
              2) Charles Benjamin Lyons b. 7 Apr 1822, Blissfield, New Brunswick
                  married Elizabeth Traviss
              3) Jeremiah Lyons b. 19 Oct 1823, Blissfield, New Brunswick
              4) Sarah Ann Lyons b. 9 Oct 1825, Blissfield, New Brunswick

       Daniel and Sarah had eleven children all together and their baptisms are in the New Brunswick Records. One of them was Daniel Allen Lyons.

6th Generation:
           Daniel Allen Lyons b. 5 Jan 1828, Ludlow Parish, Northumberland, New Brunswick, d. 29 Jul 1914, West
           Levant, Maine, buried in Waugh Cemetery, Levant, Maine
           married Huldah Traviss 1 Jul 1852, she was b. 10 Apr 1837, Northesk, New Brunswick, d. 17 Sep 1915, West Levant, Maine buried Waugh
           Cemetery, Levant, Maine.
                 1) Peter Lyons died age 7 18 Aug 1861. His tombstone is in the Carroll's Crossing Cemetery.
                 1) Ernest A. Lyons is buried in the same plot as his parents

7th Generation:
          Peter Allen Lyons b. 15 Dec 1862, Blissfield, New Brunswick, d. 24 Oct 1949, Rochester, New York
          married Katherine Ellen Wasson b. 9 Jun 1870, Blissfield, New Brunswick, d. 28 Jan 1904, Blissfield, New
          Brunswick. Nellie K. Wasson was first buried in Blissfield, N.B. Her husband had her remains removed to New Limerick, Maine

8th Generation:
