Donald born about 1805, his wife Nancy came from the Isle of Skye about 1832, with their small family and a
brother"Red"John MacLeod born abt 1802 and a sister Mary born about 1809,Donald died bef 1881 and Nancy died between 1881 and 1891. Both are buried in the MacIntosh Family Cemetery in Big Brook, Inverness Co., N.S.

2) Catherine MacLeod b abt 1828 in Scotland died 1875 in Big Brook, Inverness Co., Nova Scotia she married Angus

3) Christie MacLeod b. 1832 on board ship, it is unknown when she died
4) Flora MacLeod her twin was also born aboard ship in 1832, she died in 1914 in Big Brook.
5) Ronald MacLeod b. 1835 in Big Brook and died 19 Nov 1914 in Big Brook. Unmarried
6) Catherine ( 2 ) MacLeod b. 1847 in Big Brook, she married James L. MacKinnon of Port Hastings on 18 Feb 1874

There was a daughter of one of the girls who lived at the MacLeod farm ,Ann MacLennan b. 25 Nov 1866.
she married Duncan W. Cameron 25 Apr 1894, Duncan was born 25 Nov 1853 in Princeville, Inverness Co., N.S.

In a Letter dated 9 Jan 1885 to Roderick MacIntosh from Ronald MacLeod ( brother of Catherine MacLeod wife of Angus MacIntosh ).
Dear Nephew,
It is with the greatest pleasure I sit down to writ you these few lines to let you know that I am well at.........? and sincerely wishing that these few lines will find you the same. In the first place I am to let you know that I received your kind letter and that Christmas box you sent to me and I am very much obliged to you for being so kind as to send me 5 ? ( probably pounds currency ) but you will be ......? for that sometime or other, Now I am going to tell you that Katy Malcom got married to Alex MacLennan's son from River Denys and we had a great time, also Jane MacLean, Hugh's daughter is going to be married next Monday to Cullen MacDonald, River Inhabitants, the Butcher. I suppose Hugh MacLean will be the next one he will come home. She has got a young son, it's very likely there will be some more get married down here this winter...... Neal McLean is blind like Uncle John and I tell you he is a poor man, Now Rory I am am going to tell you about the weather we have, there is no sign of snow as yet it is the finest weather I ever see.
Your father is down.....? John is with me this winter, he was away all summer in Pictou and I think he drove truck there. All people round here are well. John MacIntosh is still driving and buying horses, he is doing little but not making fortune. Now Rory I would like next summer that you would come home to see me for all it will cost you so to talk about things I don't like to mention in this letter anyhough let me no in your next letter whether you will or not. Writ soon as you receive this note and let me know all the news you can. I must come to a close by Sunday.

Will of Ronald MacLeod
to Roderick McIntosh recorded Oct 21st, 1916
This is the last Will and Testament of me Ronald McLeod of Big Brook in the County of Inverness, Province of Nova Scotia, and dated 13th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.
I will and bequeath to my nephew Roderick McIntosh of Big Brook aforesaid, all the land that I am owner of at present and he the said Roderick McIntosh shall maintain it and give me decent living during the remainder of my natural life.
I nominate and appoint John McIntosh as executor of this my last Will and Testament and do utterly disallow, revoke and disannul all and every other prior testaments, wills, bequests and executors by me in anyway before made, willed or bequeathed, notifying and confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. To witness whereof I have set my hand and seal the day and year I above written.
