McDermott

Neil McDermott Sr. was born abt 1805 in Ireland, he died 10 Aug 1868 in Dumbarton Parish, Charlotte County, New Brunswick. He is buried in the Rollingdam United Church Cemetery. According to the " Irish Famine Migration to New Brunswick" Neal McDermott came from Cardonagh, County Donegal on the vessel " Londonderry 2 in 1848 and landed in St. John, New Brunswick. Sometime before 1832 in Ireland he married Eleanor ? born abt. 1813.
